Many Dallas vacation rentals are a set of bedrooms with a sofa in between. Game Room Oasis TM was planned around how a family actually behaves on vacation. One child is bored, while another is bouncing off the walls. Someone needs a nap, while another wants to explore. The adults are tired of driving, yet somehow hold it all together.
So the dedicated game room has a full-size pool, air hockey and ping pong table, plus foosball, darts and more. The living room is stacked with board games. Those with extra energy can play tag in the open field. When the adults need a break, the massage chair beckons from a quiet nook off the primary suite. Everyone gets a little room to do their own thing—and plenty of reasons to come back together.

Absolutely. Game Room Oasis was designed with families and children in mind, with a bunk room, twin room, dedicated game room, children’s books and board games for different ages.
We also provide a pack-n-play and children’s dishes, and the pop-up coffee table can work as a booster-height eating spot. The backyard is fully fenced, with an open field across the street for outdoor play.

Yes. Game Room Oasis has a double oven with convection, a 16″ microwave, a dishwasher with a 3rd rack, and a rolling island that doubles as a buffet. Smaller appliances include instant pot, cookware, blender, toaster, spices, and more. There’s seating for 10 between the table and bar, patio dining for 6, plus 2 sofas and a pop-up coffee table for casual meals. Our coffee,tea, and cocoa station offers a 12 cup and single serve options.
Yes. Game Room Oasis has a solar-lit pathway to the door, step-free front and rear entrances, 34-inch front door, wide hallways, continuous flooring with no interior transitions, and a handheld shower option in both bathrooms. A shower chair is also available.
There is one step into the game room from inside, which can be avoided by using the exterior entrance. The home does not have roll-in showers. If you have specific accessibility needs, contact us before booking and we will help you work out whether it is a good fit.
Yes. Up to two pets are welcome at Game Room Oasis. The pet fee is $45 with prior approval. Pets without prior approval are subject to a $200 fee. Please keep pets off the furniture, and bring extra bedding if they will be sleeping with you. and leave the fully fenced backyard clean for the next family.
Yes. Up to 5 daytime visitors are generally welcome with prior approval. Need something different? Just ask– we may be able to make an exception depending on the circumstances. Parties and events are not permitted, and all visitors must follow the house rules and quiet hours.
Yes. The home has parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway plus 2 street spaces. A private 21-foot gate provides access to the fenced backyard, and with prior approval, additional daytime parking for vehicles or trailers may be available near the open field across the street.
Trailers can be accomodated, but it is not suitable for large RVs. If you are bringing a trailer or oversized vehicle, please contact us before booking so we can confirm that the available space will work for you.
Yes. Game Room Oasis has a charcoal BBQ grill in the fenced backyard, along with patio dining for 6 and a bench swing. Guests are welcome to use the grill and should dispose of cooled ashes in the provided metal ash pail.
Yes. Game Room Oasis is equipped for longer stays with a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, a full kitchen and fast Wi-Fi. A large desk in the primary bedroom provides a dedicated workspace, with a second smaller desk in the bunk room for work or school.
Yes. Each bedroom has a Roku TV, plus one in the living room and game room. Our 300 Mbps Wi-Fi is centrally located in the home, with an extender in the game room to help everyone stay connected while having fun.

Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is before 10:00am. Self check-in means you are welcome any time after check-in begins. Check-out is by 10am. If you would like an early check-in or late check-out, message us and we will tell you what is available.
