These are the questions we get most, with the real answers rather than the reassuring ones.
Check-in and check-out. Check-in is after 4pm and it is a self check-in, so you are welcome any time after that without coordinating with anyone. Check-out is by 10am. Early check-in and late check-out are sometimes possible — message us and we will tell you what is actually available for your dates.
Is it kid-friendly. Completely, and it was designed that way rather than adapted. There is a bunk room and a twin room. The game room has something for every age, plus children’s books and a large variety of board games. We keep a pack-n-play, a high chair and children’s dishes at the house, and the coffee table has a pop-up section that works as a booster seat. The back yard is fenced, and there is an open field across the street for games of tag.
Pets. Up to two are welcome. With prior approval the fee is $45. Without prior approval it is $200 — so please just tell us. Keep pets off the furniture and bring extra bedding if they will be sleeping with you. It keeps things clean for the family after you.
Accessibility. There is a solar-lit pathway to the door, step-free entrances front and rear, a 34-inch front door, wide hallways, an open floor plan, continuous one-piece flooring with no transitions, and a handheld shower option in both bathrooms. There is a single step into the game room from inside, which can be avoided by using the exterior entrance. The home does not have roll-in showers. If you have specific accessibility needs, contact us before booking and we will help you work out honestly whether it is a good fit.
Discounts. We honor military, first responders and pastors, and there are length-of-stay discounts that may apply. Message us before you book.
