You can book our homes through Airbnb or Booking.com. We are Superhost and Preferred Partner on those platforms and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
But if you book direct, you generally pay 10–20% less for the same home on the same dates. It is worth understanding why, because “book direct” is said so often that it has stopped meaning anything.
Where the saving comes from. Booking platforms charge a guest service fee on top of the nightly rate, typically somewhere in the low-to-mid teens as a percentage of your total. That fee goes to the platform. It does not go to us, and it does not improve your stay in any way. Book direct and it simply is not there. On a week-long booking for twelve people, that is a real amount of money.
What else changes. Priority support, which means no platform messaging system and no call centre. You message us and we answer. That matters when you need an early check-in, a cot, or to tell us someone in your group has mobility needs.
Community discounts, which the platforms make almost impossible to apply. We honor military, first responders and pastors. There are length-of-stay discounts too. Message us before booking and we will tell you what you qualify for.
Perks and flexibility. Direct guests can choose one of our premium perks free of charge, subject to availability, and we have room to be flexible on timing in a way platform rules do not allow.
Our rate is guaranteed. You will not find the same home cheaper elsewhere — and if you think you have, tell us and we will look at it.
There is no catch and no membership. It is the same home, the same beds, the same game room. You are just not paying a third party to introduce us.
One thing people ask: is the cancellation policy worse if you book direct? No. We set our own terms and we will tell you exactly what they are before you pay. Platforms sometimes market their policies as a safety net, but the protection you are actually buying is against a host you cannot reach.
